Axiom didn’t begin with a business plan. It began with a feeling, the feeling every parent knows when they look at their child and think: I want more for you.
Not more pressure. Not more expectations. But more space to grow into yourself.
For me, it started with my daughter, Sophie. She has always loved theatre, the stage, the energy, the creativity. School was fine, but it didn’t feel like the place where her gifts could really shine. I wanted her to be in an environment where she wasn’t just another student, but where her passions and personality could be seen, supported, and celebrated.
That wish led me to ask for help. And that’s how I met Tom, her teacher. Together, we began looking at schools that might be a better fit. But Tom didn’t just make a list. He walked us through the process, finding the right options, preparing Sophie for interviews, and even adding theatre shows to our visits so she could feel that this journey was hers.
I still remember watching Sophie light up. She felt seen. She felt understood. She felt hopeful about her future. And as a mother, I felt supported in a way I hadn’t before.
That was the moment I realised something important:
If I felt this way, there must be so many other parents who do too. Parents who want their children to thrive not just academically, but as people. Parents who know their child has potential but don’t always know how to guide them through the next step. Parents who don’t want to do it all alone.
That’s how Axiom was born.
Not as a consultancy, not as a business idea, but as a partnership, a way of walking alongside families who want the same thing I wanted for Sophie: clarity, confidence, and a path that fits who their child truly is.
At Axiom, we see every child as amazing, full of talent, curiosity, and possibility. Our mission is to be the bridge between that child and the successful, fulfilled adult they are becoming.
Today, Axiom is more than just me and Tom. It’s a community built on trust, expertise, and care. We support families with school and university admissions, coaching, academic guidance, and so much more. But at the heart of everything we do is the same belief that started it all:
Every child deserves to feel seen. Every family deserves to feel supported. And every journey deserves to be guided with both expertise and heart.
If you’re standing where I once stood, wondering what the next step should be for your child, I want you to know you don’t have to figure it out alone. This is exactly why we’re here.
Welcome to Axiom. The bridge between potential and possibility.
